To be in her presence is like having a light shine on you. To experience her care is a comfort that comes from a true healer’s touch. Dana is a Licensed Massage Therapist with over 20 years experience in the healing arts.
She discovered her special gift of touch as a teenager, while working with race horses. The horses provided a safe place for her to express pure communication through meaningful gestures and action. However, it wasn’t until she needed massage therapy to help her through a difficult pregnancy that she was able to connect the links of experiencing touch and giving touch for the true value of the craft.
Dana’s passion and approach to bodywork is all about aligned intention; for her, it is not just about sore muscles. “I am committed to creating a safe space for my clients, so that their bodies fall in alignment.” Her philosophy is a cut above the rest in the field of massage therapy as she knows that in order to be a whole human, you must have your mind, body and soul in full communication.
As a trailblazer in massage, Dana boldly declares the need for people to feel safe in their bodies: have a sense of peace and calm, so that they can be successful in their lives. To her, massage connects the dots for her clients on a non verbal level.
Her hands, expertise and strong understanding that the body can heal itself have taken her literally around the world.
The common thread she finds in her clients: overall, people have a level of fear that prevents them from feeling safe in their bodies. Massage allows a client to relax on a cellular level and realize that comfort and security is not about what comes from the outside rather it is self cultivated. In other words: the bodywork that she provides is a quiet sacred path that creates inner dialogue to wellness.
Throughout her practice she also uncovered the link between emotional and physical strains. This curiosity led her to trauma work.
Dana is the right therapist for you if you are open to creating a personal commitment to adding massage as a part of your wellbeing toolbox. Her greatest joy is assisting her clients with connecting with their bodies.
